1. Overview
This Money-Back Policy explains eligibility for refunds on paid programs listed in JPY. By purchasing a seat you acknowledge these terms alongside the General Terms.
2. Cooling-off Window
For consumers in Japan, you may cancel without reason within 14 days of purchase unless the service has fully begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that the right is lost once delivery starts. Business purchasers may have different terms as stated on invoices.
3. Full Refund Conditions
We issue full refunds if we cancel a cohort, if a technical failure on our side prevents access for more than 48 hours before the second live session, or if duplicate charges occur.
4. Partial Refunds
If you withdraw after the cooling-off period but before the third live session, you may request a 50% refund minus payment processing costs where applicable. After the third live session, fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
5. Non-refundable Items
Downloaded templates after delivery, optional add-on workshops, and expedited reviews are non-refundable once delivered. Third-party fees (travel, software licenses you purchase separately) are never refundable by DataEngine Cloud.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@dataenginecloud.one with your order reference, participant name, and reason. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method within 14 business days unless banking rules delay processing.
7. Cancellations by Participant
You may transfer a seat to a colleague before the first session at no charge. Cancellations that fall outside statutory rights are handled according to the partial refund section. Consumer rights under the Consumer Contract Act of Japan remain unaffected where applicable.
